Float Left, a leading provider of TV Everywhere and OTT video application solutions, was in attendance at this year’s Streaming Media West conference, where Kirby Grines, Co-Founder and Senior VP of Corporate Development of Float Left, was chosen to participate on a panel session on Delivering Content in a Multi-Device World: Technical Challenges and Solutions.

On Tuesday, November 1, 2016, Grines joined a group of industry insiders, and offered insight into the challenges of deploying premium video experiences across a myriad of platforms and devices. As part of his efforts to help broadcasters and content publishers reach and engage new audiences, he shared strategies for how Float Left is helping its customers launch front-end apps and deliver content in a highly fragmented OTT market.

“Launching immersive OTT apps across today’s fragmented device ecosystem is not for the faint-hearted,” said Grines. “From supporting multiple platforms, operating systems, chipsets, programming languages, and display resolutions there’s many considerations that need to be made. Our solutions eliminate these challenges and allow our customers to remain focused on providing great content.”

Streaming Media West is a conference dedicated entirely to the business, technology, and content of online video. The event gathers industry insiders and influencers for innovative panels, interactive exhibits, and networking opportunities. This year Streaming Media West hosted over 100 speakers in more than 40 sessions.
